7 years after it's release, a fairly random Halo 3 easter egg has been found by a Halo fan called Lord Zedd.
Short version is you hit some magical crystals that I had never noticed before and you kill the scarabs and boom! You see 343 and some other numerals appear. Check the video:
Some have speculated this was an internal Bungie employee hinting at the Halo shift to 343 Industries but I think it's too early in the piece for that, rather it's just a reference to 343 Guilty Spark and Bungie's typical messing around with numbers.
Either way, it makes getting the IWHBYD skull a cake walk eh? Oh, I'll ask this one more time: Did anyone figure what whvidldshbyjsdo is in reference to yet?
